West Coast Style X The Starving Stylist
Above is a segment that I was recently featured in on West Coast Style with the lovely Mana Mansour on Shaw TV channel 4 in Vancouver. This segment is Part 2 of a GQ makeover (Watch Part 1 HERE) that I gave on a our very handsome volunteer, James—who was such a good sport that was willing to try on anything I threw on him.
I give pointers and style tips in this menswear clip and hopefully it will help all you gentlemen out there when putting an outfit together and when you go shopping. Just remember, that it's not about the label thats sewn inside your clothes, it's about the fit.
On another note, I want to give a million thanks to Mana, the host of West Coast Style. Thank you for giving me this opportunity and for being so supportive, encouraging and especially patient with me when I would [many times] blank out in front of camera during filming—You're a sweetheart and one of the most genuine people I know.
This was one of my very first time filming on camera and Lord knows, maybe after [A LOT] more practice, maybe I'll be on some show one day. . .*ahem* yea. . .probably on the D-List or Celebrity Rehab.
Anyways, thank you for watching!

There's nothing like a little retail therapy to fix a bad day right? Well I've been having a rough week—the sort of kind where you would like to crawl into a dark black hole with a giant bag of Cheetos and die. So aside from spoiling myself with a brand new tweed sport coat for the winter (which I TOTALLY did), I spent an evening being pampered at the salon.
Fresh cut, added colour, polished look and a revitalized attitude–This was exactly what I needed and colourist extraordinaire, Calvyn Cass definitely delivered it to me. Calvyn, took my "never-been-coloured-hair" virginity and after experiencing him doing so, I definitely will come back for more. Thank you Calvyn, I hope it was good for you as it was for me ;)

P.S. Have you checked out my interview with the lovely Valerie Tiu for Vancouver is Awesome? Whether you consider me a local celebrity or a joke, it's a damn good interview so read it. THE INSEAM VOL.17: PETER TY

If only my mother could read English and understand what I actually did for a living, she wouldn't be so worried about my direction in life. I can show her this great article by Blanche Macdonald Centre, where I completed my Fashion Merchandising program, but all she'll narrow into is the smug looking pictures of myself and say, "Why youuu carry purse?" and "You buy tooo much clothes. Stop it."
Oh mommy, if you are ever able to see my blog for the first time and are able to read this, I love you. I'm happy now, you don't to worry about me anymore.
Anways, check out this article about how the Starving Stylist all began and where yours truly is now, HERE.
Lastly, THANKS a bunch to everyone at Blanche Macdonald Centre for this wonderful article. I know I've been quite the media troublemaker in the past year and a half, but that never stopped you from believing in me. Thank you.

Spotted: Lily of Bleed For Fashion & I in the January 2011 issue of FLARE MAGAZINE.
Like a school report card of all straight A's, I teared out this page of the January 2011 issue of Flare Magazine and proudly pasted it on the fridge—Not because I'm totally ecstatic to have my picture in a national magazine publication, which I totally am—so please don't get me wrong—but I pasted the tear sheet as motivation. . . ummm motivation to loose some weight because I am five pounds heavier now than I was when that picture was taken. *rolls eyes* Agurh.
Anyways, the January 2011 issue of FLARE Magazine is out on newsstands NOW.
