I found Waldo. He was just hanging out in the closet with my Dolce & Gabbana.

Blazer: H&M. Shirt: ZARA. Vest: HAWKINGS McGILL. Jeans: DIESEL. Boots: ALDO.
Belt: D&G. Bracelets: URBAN OUTFITTERS.

If you couldn’t tell already by looking at my ridiculously obnoxious in-your-face branded belt in the picture, this is an outfit inspiration from the recognizable D&G Men`s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection.

I’m generally NOT the type to trot around town with any major brand name logos stamped anywhere on my clothing. I would never want to look like a trashy walking billboard so I avoid that at all cost but I thought the belt was quite fitting for this look.

I don’t mind when logo-whoring is done tastefully, with subtlety and with cause. But if I can recognize every single brand of your entire logo-screaming outfit, from head to toe and from a mile away without taking a second glance, then you might want to re-consider NOT dressing up like a douche-bag tool next time when going out.

Oh dear lord - you've brought to mind those Dior outfits that have the name stamped all over them. I remember one lady wearing a pink pantsuit and carrying a matching saddle bag.

hon. the styling is SPOT ON. i need not say more.

and you know what, we forgive you for the label dropping because that belt IS fab. don't we all just hate those ones who think they're all that just cuz they're trotting around head to toe in logos? fucking funny if you ask me.

again, you look so incredibly dapper!

Fabulous outfit!
I totally agree with you about the in your face branding, it's so trashy.
You did it with ultimate style of course, could a vest-blazer combo even look trashy? Never!
Btw love your interpretation of the collection, you could have been walking on that runway!

Love the outfit. I see we are covering up the meavage. Since when are we conservative chic?!! ;-) LOL. And I love those Diesel jeans. I need baggy pants only because I have packed on a few pounds since Christmas and even London is getting too f'in cold to go jogging in Hyde Park. Seeing as there is no way is HELL I am paying £95 per month for gym membership at Virgin active or for the 12 month contract £75 per month!?!

oh dearies, brand alert! haha nah you rock it. totally agree with you. a little brandiness does the trick, label whoring is eww.

Posted on January 11, 2010 11:21 AM

you are so right about the logo. i can't stand MOST items that have logos written all over them. I avoid them at all costs too. but your belt does fit this outfit perfectly and it doesn't scream d&g. you look great!

Posted on January 11, 2010 11:53 AM

Wow! This is such an amazing look!

Posted on January 11, 2010 1:15 PM

When I first looked at your outfit, there were so many elements that I liked it was hard to pick just one...so I won't hahaha to be honest I love it all. It's so well put-together (I would expect nothing less from you, of course) and the colours are gorgeous (but they don't outshine you). H&M should make you their poster boy for blazers 'cause you look so damn good in all of them! Okay fine, the vest is the best part. I love it.

Thanks for your comment. I really like this outfit. The blazer's really cool.
