I watched The Devil Wears Prada the other night for the millionth time and for some reason my heart ached. This time, it wasn’t because of Anne Hathway’s character trading in her Chanel outfits for ‘normal clothes’ at the end of the movie, but instead it was the amazing place settings of New York and Paris in the movie that I can only dream of being able to visit.

Being the fashion obsessed mister that I am (or at least try to be), it seriously upsets me that I haven’t had the opportunity to travel outside North America or anywhere else that’s not along the Western U.S. borders. Ohhhh BLOODY HELL. . . I don’t even remember the last freakin' time I was even on an airplane for crying out loud! I’m literally at my breaking point and would probably just swipe any of my handful of credit cards until it was approved for a trip to Paris, New York or London! But then again, I would probably get depressed and deliberately run myself into a brick wall because I wouldn’t have any money to go shopping and enjoy my time while there. *sigh*

So with that said, I guess I’ll just unpack my life out of my Prada bags and go down the street to that French Café and try to make do because that’s probably the closet thing to Paris as I’ll ever get!

Greatest post of my life! This is so funny! Your little explanation at the bottom! LOL! Wow! I am still laughing...literally! I love the pictures! Super inspiring! I think the Devil Wears Prada is a movie loved and watched a million times by ll of us fashion lovers! I know I have watched it so much that I could quote every line in the movie! I could direct a musical remake for Broadway or just remake it for Youtube or something like that! Good movie! Loving your blog!
Keep doing what you're doing! Also...keep being extremely funny!

I love the editorial.

If only economy looked that glamorous. Until I can afford 1st or business I will have to resort to wearing FOB clothes as a defense mechanism in case someone's offspring barfs on me or God knows what else. coz I will strangle an 18month old f**ker if my designer sh** got puked on, seeing as dry cleaning at 30 thousand feet has yet to be invented. British Airways i hope ur reading this!

Aww I'm sure you'll make it to both cities someday and travel in style! New York is tons of fun and Paris is just beautiful. I think you'd especially enjoy Avenue Montaigne--picture a quiet tree-lined street just off the Champs-Elysees with beautiful windows and names straight out of Vogue magazine.

You would love Paris. You might not want to come home when you get there. And New York is pretty awesome too.

That is one HOT editorial!

And don't worry, your time for travel will come! And when it does, you'll have the best time of you life, for real. You won't want to come back to the states, I assure you! I can't live without traveling. All my savings go towards my travels. I love Paris, I love London, I love Sydney, etc. etc. I don't care if I don't own a Prada bag, I would choose travel over a top designer bag ANY day. Errr, wait. Let me rethink that.... ;)

Bisous!

Just discovered your blog - I love it. I wish guys would walk around as well dressed as the pictures you post. Seriously. If one of these guys stepped out of the computer screen and into the lame town that I live in, I would be so excited!

Also, I'm sure you'll get to travel when the time comes :). On the plus side, Vancouver is the best city in Canada. I am totally serious, I wished I lived there. It's so pretty and you guys have the best vintage shops.. Wanna switch towns? (HAH DOUBT IT)
